Elizabeth Myers was a dental assistant in High Point who has transitioned to making beautiful artwork of homes.
She began by teaching herself to paint flowers, and one of her first full paintings was of her grandmother’s house. She was so entranced in the experience that she continued painting homes.
Homes are, as she says, “where families enjoy each other’s company, make memories, and laugh.” (Source)
As she developed her craft, she took to Instagram to share her art with more people under the handle @e.hollanddesigns.
Through that medium she has sent out hundreds of pieces to people around the internet, and looks at each creation as a humbling bit of magic. To start with a blank canvas and end up with something beautiful that captures the spirit of someone’s life, their family, and their home is proof, she says, that there is hidden talent in all of us.
