The Candy Monster Strikes Again
High Point, NC, October 10th, 2019 – Warr Pediatric Dental Associates needs your help! Beginning November 4th 2019, we will be running our 8th annual candy buyback program. This program is meant to help with 2 missions – the fight against childhood decay and Operation Gratitude for support of our troops.
Dr. Warr’s team works to provide opportunities all week long Nov. 4th-7th to allow our community to trade their unwanted/excess candy for cash and door prize rewards. We offer $1 for every pound of candy you bring to our office for the week of November 4th-7th. By taking part in this candy buyback program, our community will not only get cash rewards, but we also have totally awesome door prizes and the lasting feel good memory that we together put a smile on a soldier’s face.
The candy that we collect through this buyback program will be sent to our troops overseas as part of Operation Gratitude which was established in 2003 during the Enduring Freedom war on Iraq. As part of this program we also give the kids materials to write notes of encouragement, love, and thanks to the troops who will be receiving the candy. Warr Pediatric Dental Associates uses this program as a way to support our troops while aiding in the prevention of cavities and obesity in children in our local community. The troops love it, the kids love it, and so do we!
This is our 8th year doing the candy buyback program in our office and we have raised our goal to collect 400 pounds of candy this year. Help us reach our goal by participating and telling your friends and neighbors. Last year we gathered 300 pounds of candy from within the community and sent it overseas to our troops.
To participate, all you need to do is collect one pound of candy (or more!) and bring it to Warr Pediatric Dental Associates at 1008 Hutton Ln #112, High Point, NC 27262 beginning November 4, 2019. In return, we will reward you with $1 per pound of candy and a door prize for your efforts. For more information about Warr Pediatric Dental Associates visit our website at warrpda.org.
