We are so committed to infant oral health that we will give you a free first visit if your little one is 2 or under! Studies show that the earlier your child starts going to the dentist, the less you will spend on dental care during their lifetime. Infant dental care really is that important!
A groundbreaking study completed here in North Carolina showed that children who started going to the dentist at the age of one-year had less dental problems and less dental anxiety.
We believe this is an important step in their early oral hygiene, and provides a series of great opportunities for your child and your pocket!
You may be thinking, “how are you going to keep a two-year old still in the chair?” But we don’t expect your little one to cooperate. Many of the ladies in our office are moms and know very well how to work with wiggly, fussy children with tact and love. With your help, we clean, floss, examine and apply a fluoride treatment to your child’s teeth. The entire process will take about 5 minutes.
Then comes the really easy part.
Your role in this first visit is very important. Our staff will demonstrate how to brush and floss your little one’s teeth at home, give you tips for toothbrushes, toothpaste and information about healthy snacks.
Dr. Joye will consult with you and answer any questions that you may have. Although your little one may have been a bit fussy, there’s nothing that a new toy won’t fix!!
